Fashion Week LA Spring/Summer 2014- LA Fashion Weekend Day 2

Venue: Sunset Gower Studios
 Producers: LA Fashion Weekend
Fashion Designers: Le MaLi Designs, Shail K, Unique Vintage
Season: Spring/Summer 2014

DAY TWO (Sunday)
This season by the time this venue took place I was totally wiped out from driving back and forth from Ventura County to Los Angeles during this fashion week and decided not to go.  Don't worry we still sent our crew over to cover the runway shows.

Unique Vintage
Katie Echeverry's nostalgic eye definitely paid off when her spring/summer collection
of 2014 had its debut. These theatrical yet casual designs pay homage to the styles
of the forties, fifties, and even as far back as the roaring '20s. Although they may not
be entirely new, Katie's take on these vintage styles is refreshing. I could totally see
younger generations of women yearning to have this collection in their closet!

Le MaLi Designs
Two heads are better then one right? This is exactly the case when it comes to the
creative, L.A.-based, twin designers quickly rising in the fashion design world.
Taraslith and Marlene Herrera are one determined duo who's mission is to create
elegant and high-end pieces for all body types. So far they seem to be doing
something right as their collection wowed the runway audience. From the exquisite
embroidery detail to the smooth flowing fabrics, this line definitely fought to steal
the show.

Shail K.
Former Miss Mumbai title holder, model, and film actress Kimi Verma has had
incredible opportunities thanks to her many talents. So, when she got the chance to
move to Los Angeles its no surprise that she quickly blossomed into a notable
entrepreneur. This personal line, inspired by her mother, is a wonderful example of
her artistic ability. The detailed textures and patterns make this eye candy all the
greater when you realize you can wear it too!
