New York Fashion Week - Public School SS2016

Public School spring collection was not your typical light and colorful spring summer collection, but then again, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osbourne are not your typical designers. The collection was sharper, contemplative even, with a refined new take on parkas and trench coats. Navy blue, black and white were common denominators here with a linear neon orange making an appearance for colour-blocking purposes. Despite the polished masculine feel of the collection, some common spring elements were there with soft stripes, pleats, and flowing garments gracing the runway. The collection was perfectly suited for rainy weather and you can count on Public School to look elegant under your umbrella.
