From the moment I
walked into The Concept Los Angeles Ace Gallery, kindly hidden in an area
I once called home, I caught a real retro feel, and was pleasantly welcomed by
a gentleman kindly escorting me upstairs in a classic vintage elevator.
The galleries featured
artist was Mary Corse and I have to admit, was an extra bonus!

The ambiance of it all
was art meets chic, and with added fashion exhibits by, Curly-V, Zu Bauen and
other LA designers ones need for fashion and art was definitely met in every
way!

3:00pm Runway Show: Gypsy
Junkies
The vision of a dark
angel falling in love with a flower child came across quite clear in the Gypsy
Junkie fall winter 2012 collection. Flower silk prints and dark velvet
bell-bottoms were some of the collections key components.
I've never been a fan
of light colors under-toned with black, however the designers’ touch impressed
me...

My thoughts: Earth
tones told a beautiful story of Mother Nature.
9:00pm Runway Show: Jen Awad
The music set a
tone... Dark and sexy…Modern cuts and a smart use of furs made this lingerie
collection very tasteful and appealing.
