Giorgio Armani Spring Summer 2016

By Cassandra Pierre-Louis
Giorgio Armani's Spring Summer '16 collection was, in a word, what the French call coquette. It's a classy woman who likes amorous scents, dressing well and being admired. Sprinkled with a celestial silver undertone, blue and red were the dominant colours with soft washes of pink and peach accents. It was girly at it's best. Proving further more that women in men clothes takes nothing away from their gracefulness, Giorgio designed pinstriped short pants suit in metallic lilac, a boyfriend shirt-dress and long cardigans that are appropriate for the office. We particularly loved the tulle dresses and the Audrey Hepburn oversized hats. Classy, girly, simply put, Armani's collection was gorgeous.
