The Driven By Design producing team consisting of Alumni from the Fashion Institute of Fashion Design & Merchandising (FIDM), produced an ULTRA GLAM design consortium experience, the designer runway presentations intertwined with emerging designer installations. We all know that the fashion industry does not have enough diversity on the runway, well this team off to a good start to address that issue, diversity behind the scenes, diversity on the runway and diversity with the vendors.
Thai Nguyen
Designer Thai Nguyen who most came to see did not disappoint with a collection for the Modern Princess. Thai Nguyen is a Fashion Designer & Stylist who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in 2002. After graduating he earned the title of associate designer for BCBG Max Azria, until 2004.  Thai garner a reputation for his convertible evening gown creations on the TV show  Bravos Launch My Line  as a finalist.  Thai was also a fashion designer & contributor on RuPauls Drag Race Season 2 and is currently working with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Adrienne Maloof and Brandi Glanville.

 The Dena Burton Collection
Dena shares that her Spring/Summer 2014 collection is sexy, smart and carefree. It’s all about the trendsetter experience. The woman that wears her collection is serious about business, "she works hard & plays hard, I was envisioning  a woman who does a lot of international traveling doing the summer season. I want her to take her pieces and be able to interchange them and also be classy & elegant, to have a lot of classics in her wardrobe" Dena explains in an interview with Society805.com

BK Phillips
Los Angeles based fashion designer Brian “BK” Phillips draws inspiration from life’s adventures. His 2014 Spring Summer collection is in full effect on the runway this season.  In 2010, BK Phillips Designs launched to vast community in the television and film to selling is collection in specialty apparel boutiques across the country.

Dominique Siby creator of FELIO SIBY 
Dominique Siby, the creative force behind luxury brand FELIO SIBY, discovered his dream of being a high-end fashion designer in the small central African country of Gabon. However he is poised to become an international fashion staple ranking amongst Dolce & Gabana, Lanvin, Prada and others in that fashionable category.  The FELIO SIBY Collection consists of handmade shirts, jeans  and duffel bags made of exotic skins, cashmere, and fine cottons, targeting the upscale gentlemen who wants to look good, be comfortable and not look like the carbon copy of other men.

The entertainment for the evening opened the runway with an extraordinary performance from one of the top 10 female guitarists Malina Moye who set the tone with an electrifying  experience on stage. Malina’s star style presence on stage excited the audience as she walked down the runway in a stylish designer ensemble created just for her by For The Stars Fashion House Presenting Rocky Gathercole. The added plus factor, several runway models were flanked on both side of the runway in couture embellished gowns and intricate provocative body wear that gave the audience a stunning opening for what was to come on the runway. Malina has just completed her new record ROCK N ROLL BABY with the first single K-yotic featuring Bootsy Collins.
