For his 10th year anniversary collection, Alexander Wang went back to his roots of notoriously known grunge and urban looks. The vibe that was given off by his SS2016 collection is the look that was created by Wang himself 10 years ago - slouchy, relaxed, not-trying-too-hard urban look.

Backstage at his show, Wang described the inspiration and methods for his designs, explaining how he left all "high concepts" of fashion behind, and focused on what "the girls I know wear...and the characters of girls who wear them."

Wang's show wasn't just a runway show...it was a huge celebration. After his 3 year stint in Paris as Creative Director of Balenciaga comes to an end, he return back to the United States to focus on his own brand. You can expect him to produce more of these authentic designs that opened the doors for him a decade ago and launched his successful fashion career.
